I Am the child who lives in ur street, you all pass me by ,you people with big feet.

Am i the child who lonely and sad,look closer there is something bad.
Iam the child with brown eyes and rosy cheeks, the chatterbox often told not to speak.

Iam the child who feels dirty inside.

Am i the child who has no friends of my own, i sit and watch others but im always alone .

Iam the child whos spirit is dead, my secret unknown , my tomorows full of dread.

Tell whats wrong this feeling i hide , look closer , what do you see the child in the mirror or the child inside me .

Colchester: Old medical notes scandal

An incident in which medical records were left lying around a disused hospital has been branded "inexcusable, unacceptable and indefensible".

An urgent inquiry was launched after confidential medical files were found scattered at the derelict St Mary's Hospital, Colchester.

Mike Pollard, Essex Rivers Healthcare NHS Trust chief executive, said the reputation of the organisation has been rocked by the records scandal.

He said: "We don't believe any individual has been personally compromised by this stuff floating around inside.

"Patients rightly expect us to keep any information relating to them, however insignificant, in secure conditions. Any breach of this is inexcusable, unacceptable and indefensible.

"I do think the incident damages people's confidence in the Essex Rivers Healthcare Trust and we would do best to put the the matter behind us."

A three-member investigation team was formed to investigate how the confidential files were left at the disused hospital.

The inquiry concluded:

Trust departments did not ensure notes were transferred to a safe storage place and none accepted responsibility for the St Mary's site, resulting in a lack of accountability.

Large quantities of patients' notes were stored for more than three years in an insecure area of St Mary's and no routine checks were made on their security.

The inquiry report, made public at a board meeting yesterday (Monday), also reveals Trust chiefs knew of the St Mary's situation last June.

Board chairman Mike Salmon added: "It is a most regrettable event. We have got to learn from it. We ask these recommendations may be implemented as a matter of great urgency."

The Trust board unanimously accepted seven recommendations fo improvements made by the inquiry.

A mate of mine had two police turn up at his house they presented their warrant and it was dated for the following day. he smiled pointed out the error and said that he'd have the tea ready (tomorrow) should they turn up at arround the same time.

Have I been looking at 'Operation Blast' the wrong way here ? In tonights rag the inference is that a minister/politician was susceptible to blackmail, Would Messrs Walker and Ogley regarded this as negative or positive?It depends on the politician involved doesn't it.
One always assumes Machiaevellan angles but it could just be crass opportunism that relates to that time, where others had tried to exploit an angle and W/O thought 'Whats going on here?.
Knowing how insecure lawyers offices can be all manner of private information can 'leak out' . I just hope the politician involved can't be damaged should the terminally wounded Ogleybeast turn in its dying throes and strike out with its scaly tail!

Thanks for that inspiration Zoompad and yes you are so right about being a SURVIVOR!!! They hate the fact that we have grown up with the torture they placed upon us yet we remain strong and defiant.

Now we are adults who can and will fight back…

True, but it doesn't stop them attacking me.

I get attacked all the time on my own anti paedophile networks - they all love me (NOT!)I get the paedos ganging up on me, trying to make excuses for paedophilia, it makes me want to gag.

I think the reason I manage to stir up the anony moles is because I have been like a cockroach to them - I should have just gone away and died or something, the amount of times they've stamped on me and kicked me to pieces, and poisoned my life with their malicious vindictive persecution.

I should have been a very good and obedient institutional child abuse VICTIM and shuffled off into oblivion all broken and smashed.

Instead, I've turned into this nasty coming again and again in your face cockroach monster old woman, refusing to go away, refusing to die, just continuing to shout my head off about how I have been treated - in short, I have become an institutional child abuse SURVIVOR!

They don't like it, so they try to shut me up, and accuse me of hysteria and being pointless ect.

We don't have to be victims any more. We can rise like phoenix and use our lives to help other people who have been abused by doing so, because if other people see us not broken and crushed it lifts them up. I like playing my silly little Spongebob Squairpants ukelali and singing my satitical songs and making fun of the people who gave me so much grief. It might seem a silly thing, but it makes me feel that they haven't broken my spirit, because I can still laugh, even if sometimes it is at myself (I am not really very good on the uke and my voice isn't that great either!)

I do not want a single one of those people who were abused at Haut de la Garenne to commit suicide, thinking that their lives are all ruined and worthless. My life isn't worthless, I used to think that it was, when I was all smashed up, but thanks to some very kind folk, like Stuart, and other people who have helped folk like me to get our voices heard, I feel that I have become a member of the human race again. I want to use the rest of my life to help other people who have been smashed up by abuse. I make videos and sing songs to that purpose, and in my tiny way I feel that my life now has some point to it.

I don't care if I get attacked any more, especially by folk who haven't even got the guts to give any indication of their identity. Not in any way having a chip at anonymous posters though - I know many abused people will not want to be identified, totally totally understand that, and I don't mean those people. I mean the ones who come to places like this anonymously and try to attack other posters, people who have been through hell, for the nastiness of it. All I can think when that happens is that song, "I am a mole and I live in a hole) and it just makes me laugh!

Re saga of my complaint to the BBC about Talkback programme.

I've received a response from the editorial complaints unit.

It's in pdf form so I can't copy it directly so a bit of the edited highlights.

"Thank you for your letter of 27 May which we received on 3 June

Before I explain how I propose to deal with your complaint I think it would be useful if I outlined the role of the Editorial Complaints Unit and the limits of its remit. The ECU investigates complaints about material which is broadcast or published by the BBC to determine if there has been a serious breach of the standards expressed in the BBCs editorial guidelines. What we cannot do is take a view on matters of editorial judegement such as the selection of intervewees for a programme, or general complaints say of bias across output. We can only investigate where the complaint refers to a specific item broadcast or published by the BBC.

This means that it is not for me to investigate your general complaint that a particular individual is precluded from participating in the stations output. However if you wish to pursue this matter I can refer it to the Head of Accountability in the BBC News who also has responsibility for the BBCs English regions. Please let me know if this is how you would like to proceed.

Your complaint about a specific episode of Talkback, does however fall within our remit and we shall be happy to investigate it.

To ensure that we do so on the basis of a correct appreciation of the issues the BBCs complaints procedure provides that at this stage we set out the main points of the complaint as we understand them and the elements of the Editorial Guidelines we believe to be most relevant to them. From the correspondence to date we understand your complaint to be that a contributor to Talkback was allowed to denigrate Senator Stuart Syvret without Senator Syvret being afforded a right of reply. We believe the relevant guidelines are those dealing with right of reply which say: ‘when we make allegations of wrong doing, iniquity or incompetence or lay out a strong and damaging critique of an individual or institution the presumption is that those criticized should be given a right of reply’

Needless to say I will be responding and asking for the wider matter of editorial bias to be referred on to the Head of Accountability as offered in Mr Bells letter.

I would also value any comments about the summary of the complaint presented by Mr Bell, as my memory of the programme is somewhat hazy after all these months. So anyone else who heard the programme - it was the one with John Henwood being particularly odious - your views would be appreciated before the 1st of July.

I really must take issue with you. For some reason you appear to believe the local media will come good.

After just reading the e-mail correspondance between an abuse survivor and Deputy Editor of our only "news"paper ROB SHIPLEY, do you still believe they will "come good"?

Here is an abuse survivor in obvious anguish, possible paranoia, basically pleading with ROB SHIPLEY to help put her mind at least at a little bit of ease and what does this "journalist" do?

Does he say could we interview you as a piece for our "news"paper and get the thoughts of an alleged abuse victim, ask questions like "how do you feel your life has been molded" by the Jersey care system" "what is life like for people, like yourself, that have been through the Jersey "care" system" "why do you have no trust in the States of Jersey"? "This would make for a powerful "Saturday interview" and is of huge public concern"?

NO with all his "journalistic" knowledge and skills he comes up with....." though I believe that you can be reasonably certain that this was because of lack of evidence that would stand up in court rather than a cover-up".

If that is not a kick in the teeth from our only "news"paper and a strong message that "we support the establisment line" then I don't know what is!

ROB SHIPLEY and CHRIS BRIGHT, in my opinion, are scumbags of the highest order.

They're not going to "come good" Stuart, you can carry on trying to convince yourself they will but you'll never convince me.

My thoughts, anger and anguish are with all abuse survivors not least the one who got this latest kick in the teeth from, what I believe to be "the establishments mouth piece"
